Who they serve: Any business in its first year of operation, either full- or part time whether service or light manufacturing, but not retail by application.

What they do: The Business Incubator provides office or manufacturing space, shared support services (clerical, fax, photocopy) and conference rooms. It also provides business planning assistance, loan packaging assistance, and general counsel for its tenants. Housed in the incubator is the Tennessee Small Business Development Center. The TSBDC  features a business reference library, on-line computer, application software, and video centers.

Length of program: Three years as a tenant of the incubator.

Number of clients: 66-70 businesses are housed in the incubator per year.

Fee for program:

• Rent for mfg. is $2.50 per square foot.
• Office space is $7.25 per square foot.
• Support Services charged by item.
• Business Resource Center: no charge.
